Effects of Bi2O3 Addition on the Thermoelectric Properties of Ca3Co3.9Cu0.1O9/Bi2Ca2Co2Oy Composites

  • 摘要: 采用助溶剂法合成Ca3Co3.9Cu0.1O9粉体,与Bi2O3混合压制、烧结,制备出Ca3Co3.9Cu0.1O9/Bi2Ca2Co2Oy复合材料,通过改变Bi2O3的加入量,研究其对复合材料热电性能的影响。结果表明:Bi2O3的加入能够提高样品的致密度;随着Bi2O3加入量的增加,样品的电阻率明显降低,Seebeck系数变化不大,功率因子显著增大;在973 K的温度下,Ca3Co3.9Cu0.1O9 (Bi2O3)0.2样品具有最大功率因子,达到3.27×10-4 Wm-1K-2

     

    Abstract: The Ca3Co3.9Cu0.1O9 powder synthesized by solvent method was sintered with various Bi2O3 for Ca3Co3.9Cu0.1O9/Bi2Ca2Co2Oy composites in this article, and the effects of Bi2O3 addition on the thermoelectric properties of the composite were studied. The study shows that the addition of Bi2O3 can get denser samples, and with the Bi2O3 increasing, the electrical resistivity decreases sharply while Seebeck coefficient changs little and this results in a maximum power factor of 3.27×10-4 Wm-1K-2 in Ca3Co3.9Cu0.1O9 (Bi2O3)0.2 sample at 973 K.
