Purpose/SignificanceThe rural revitalization strategy clearly states that rural revitalization should adhere to green ecological orientation and promote sustainable development of agriculture and rural areas.With the deepening development of industrialization, urbanization and agricultural modernization, the problems of rural ecological environment destruction and pollution have become increasingly serious, related issues need to be solved.

Method/ProcessThis study investigates the current situation of farmers' environmental behavior by using in-depth interviews and questionnaire survey in the four districts of Yichang City.

Result/ConclusionThe results show that economic interests, environmental awareness, environmental knowledge, and environmental infrastructure affect farmers' environmental behavior. Finally, the papermakes some suggestions: to enhance farmers' environmental behavior by cultivating farmers' environmental awareness, improving environmental infrastructure, and strengthening government governance.
