Hydrogen Production and Its Application in Chemical Industry from a Life Cycle Perspective

  • 摘要: 面对全球能源危机和气候变化,氢能作为一种清洁、高效的能源,对于推动能源结构的低碳转型具有重要意义。文章从原料获取、运输到氢气生产的生命周期评估(LCA)的视角,围绕全球变暖潜力(GWP)和能耗,分析了化石能源制氢、生物质转化制氢、水解制氢等多种氢气生产技术,旨在为制定氢能发展的环境管理政策提供科学依据,促进化工行业的绿色生产转型。评价结果表明:利用风能、太阳能等可再生能源电解水制氢,具有更低的碳足迹和能耗,是实现可持续能源发展的关键;碳捕集与储存技术与工业副产氢的回收成为当下向绿色氢能转型的过渡方案;基于现有的制氢技术,耦合煤化工与风能、太阳能等可再生能源电解水制氢为进一步实现工业脱碳提供了可能。文章还探讨了氢气在化工领域的应用潜力及工业副产氢气大规模推广的重要意义,展望了氢能在未来化工生产中的发展趋势。

     

    Abstract: In the face of the global energy crisis and climate change, hydrogen energy, as a kind of clean and efficient energy, plays a significant role in promoting the low-carbon transition of the energy structure. This article starts from the perspective of environmental impact and energy consumption in the hydrogen production process, reviewing the life cycle assessment results of hydrogen production from different routes and covering the process from raw material acquisition and transportation to hydrogen production. It analyzes various hydrogen production technologies, including fossil energy-based hydrogen production, biomass conversion to hydrogen, and water electrolysis, aiming to provide a scientific basis for formulating environmental management policies for hydrogen energy development and promoting the green transformation of the chemical industry. The evaluation results show that using renewable energy sources such as wind and solar power for water electrolysis to produce hydrogen has a lower carbon footprint and energy consumption, which is key to achieving sustainable energy development. Carbon capture and storage technology, along with the recovery of industrial by-product hydrogen, becomes a transitional solution towards green hydrogen energy. Based on existing hydrogen production technologies, coupling the coal chemical industry with renewable energy sources such as wind and solar power for water electrolysis provides possibilities for further industrial decarbonization. The article also discusses the potential of hydrogen in the chemical industry, analyzes the opportunities and challenges of new energy-based hydrogen production technologies in the chemical field, and the significance of large-scale promotion of industrial by-product hydrogen. Finally, it looks forward to the development trend of hydrogen energy in future chemical production.
