Abstract: In recent years, the concept of Space Internet has been proposed and has attracted wide attention due to the rapid development of low-orbit satellite constellation systems at home and abroad. The establishment of Space Internet system will bring great promotion to the aviation transportation industry and can provide communication, navigation, surveillance and other information services to a wide range of aviation users. In this paper, the characteristics and development status of space Internet are analyzed, and the application status of space Internet in aviation communication and aviation surveillance is summarized. On this basis, the application requirements and operation indicators of space Internet oriented to the aviation field are proposed, and the market demand of space Internet in the aviation field is analyzed. Finally, the paper points out that with the rapid growth of the number of global aircraft and the increasing demand for aviation safety and aviation management, space Internet, which can provide integrated parameter information and data transmission for aviation flight and aviation management, will become a tendency.
