Abstract:
Purpose/SignificanceTourist Attraction above 4A-Grade is an important part of regional tourism attraction, the study on the rule of spatial distribution of Tourist Attractions above 4A-Grade is of great importance in regional tourism planning and industrial development.
Method/processThis paper makes a quantitative study of Tourist Attractions above 4A-Grade in Henan province with nearest neighbor index, geographic concentration index, Gini coefficient and imbalance index.
Results/ConclusionThe result shows that spatial distribution of Tourist Attractions above 4A-Grade displays a pattern of overall differentiation, a high concentration in certain area, blittle difference in scenic density, and relatively even spatial distribution. The paper then studies influencing factors that restrict spatial distribution from three aspects: level of regional economy, tourist traffic, status of tourism resources allocation.
