Abstract:
In order to investigate the flow characteristics of flow around dual offshore pipeline which is often used in engineering, a numerical model which solves N-S equations and standard
k-ε were applied to simulate the flow around dual offshore pipeline near wall in various spaces, 1

D. The velocity distributions at various cross sections obtained by numerical model were in agreement with experimental results. In addition, the effect of spaces on vortexes and pressure on seabed were discussed. It is found that the pressure gap of upstream pipe is larger than the value of downstream pipe. This implies that the seabed below upstream pipe is easier to be scoured than the region below downstream pipe and should be paid more attention.
