Abstract
Weak interactions between halogenated hydrocarbons and small molecules have become a hot research area in chemistry field. This article demonstrated experimental spectrum advances for clusters of halogenated hydrocarbons with oxygen/nitrogen containing simple small molecules. The halogenated hydrocarbons includes saturated halogenated hydrocarbons with hydrogen atoms, saturated perhalogenated hydrocarbons and unsaturated halogenated hydrocarbons. As well, computational studies to explore the nature of this weak interaction at molecular level were included. These research advances will contribute to the development of its chemical, material and biological applications.
