Abstract
High erucic acid rapeseed oil and meal waste oil have no edible value. Using a heterogeneous catalysis process to increase the value of such inferior resources has important research significance for alleviating environmental pollution. In this paper, cheap CoOx oxide is used as a catalyst to play the synergistic catalytic effect of CoO and Co species, and isopropanol is used as a new type of hydrogen donor to replace the traditional hydrogen source to catalyze the conversion of non-edible fats and oils into fatty alcohols under relatively mild conditions. At a reaction temperature of 220 ℃, the yield of fatty alcohols can be obtained at 45%, which provides a reference for the high-value utilization of inferior fats and oils.
