Design of Fault Diagnosis System for Horizontal Centrifugal Pump Based on LabVIEW

  • In view of the problems such as the harsh working environment of horizontal centrifugal pumps, frequent failures and the imperfect functions of existing diagnostic systems, this paper designs a state monitoring and fault diagnosis system for horizontal centrifugal pumps based on the time domain characteristics and frequency domain characteristics of abnormal vibration of centrifugal pumps based on LabVIEW platform. The methods of axis trajectory, time-frequency analysis, wavelet packet AR spectrum analysis and neural network are applied to the system. The test of single-stage single-suction horizontal centrifugal pump is confirmed that the system can monitor and diagnose the hydraulic performance and health state of centrifugal. The application of the system has a certain practical significance for the safety of the unit. The system can reduce the shutdown time and the operation and maintenance cost.
