A Simulation Platform for Complex Electric Energy Metering Environment

  • With the development and application of power electronics technology, the diversity of power sources and loads makes the power system more and more complex, which also makes the accurate measurement of electric energy more and more difficult. In order to solve the problem of reproducing electric energy metering scenarios under complex working conditions, the paper proposes a method to implement a complex electric energy metering environment simulation platform. The method can generate the simulated waveform data of voltage and current of different scenarios in the host computer, and amplify them into power voltage and current by the power amplifier, and reproduce the specific electric energy metering environment in the laboratory, and analyze the error of the metering of the meter to be analyzed and the standard meter to achieve the experimental verification of the electric energy metering method under the corresponding scenarios. The simulation method of complex power metering environment proposed in this paper has achieved good results in a practical application and laid the foundation for future research on power metering under complex power grids.
