Research of Deformation Law and Mechanical Properties ofWave Spring Based on HyperMesh and ANSYS

  • Taken the wave spring as the research object, the deformation law and mechanical properties of the wave spring are researched by combining theoretical calculation and finite element analysis. The torsional deformation of wave crest and wave trough of wave spring during compression process is analyzed. The variation laws of load, radial deformation, maximum equivalent stress and compression of wave spring are obtained. By comparing the finite element calculation results with the theoretical calculation results, the accuracy of the theoretical calculation formulas of stiffness and radial deformation is verified. In order to solve the problem that the stress calculation formula in the industry standard is not applicable to the wave spring with thickness less than 0.2 mm, the stress calculation formula is modified by the finite element analysis, and the application range of the stress correction coefficient is determined by setting the control group, which provides a reference for the design and calculation of the wave spring.
