Experimental Study on Separation Performance of Combined Separator with Cascade Separation Element and Cyclone

Abstract
The phase Doppler particle analyzer test method was used to conduct an experimental study on separation performance for a combined separator containing cascade and cyclone, at the same time, in the same condition for testing the separator containing only cyclone. The results show that there was a high separation efficiency of the combined gas-liquid separator to various gas flow rates of the liquid mixture. New combined separator separation efficiency was up to 97.85% while the traditional separation of the highest separation efficiency was only 94.54%. Therefore, the separation performance of the separator can meet the design requirements.
