Experimental Study on Separation Performance of Combined Separator with Cascade Separation Element and Cyclone

  • The phase Doppler particle analyzer test method was used to conduct an experimental study on separation performance for a combined separator containing cascade and cyclone, at the same time, in the same condition for testing the separator containing only cyclone. The results show that there was a high separation efficiency of the combined gas-liquid separator to various gas flow rates of the liquid mixture. New combined separator separation efficiency was up to 97.85% while the traditional separation of the highest separation efficiency was only 94.54%. Therefore, the separation performance of the separator can meet the design requirements.
