The Dielectric Properties and Relaxor Behaviour of Ba0.98 Bi0.02(Ti0.9Zr0.1)1-xCoxO3 Ceramics

  • Ba0.98Bi0.02(Ti0.9Zr0.1)1-xCoxO3(x=0.00, 0.005, 0.015, 0.02)ceramics were prepared by a solid phase reaction. The microstructure and dielectric properties of the ceramics were investigated by XRD and LCR. The results showed that the second phase didn't occur in doping range; when x=0.02, the ceramic was diffuse ferroelectrics. The dominant defect dipoles was 2BiBa·-Vo″, BiBa·-Co′Ti/Zr in crystal. The varieties of defect dipoles made a significant influence on dielectric relaxion. According to crystal chemistry results, it was concluded that the bond valance sum was inversely proportional to the dielectric constants.
