Engineering Design of the Industrial Wastewater Treatment System for an Industrial Waterplant in Three Gorges Reservation Area of Chongqing

  • An industrial waterplant, which extracted Raw water from Yangtze River, was to be reformed to dispose the industrial wastewater, which was discharged to the water source just after the intake. To protect the water environment of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, a'regulating reservoir-gravity concentration pool-plate and frame filter press' system was designed, with designed turbidity of 330 NTU according to the sludge processing insurance rate of 75%. This project could reduce 10002.8t absolute dry sludge and 2×106m3 raw water per year, and had great social and economic benefits.
