Pseudo-dynamic Approach of Seismic Stability Analysis of Reinforced Soil Slope

  • The stability of reinforced soil slope subjected to seismic loads is analyzed in this paper.The horizontal and vertical seismic force are expressed by pseudo-dynamic approach.Because of the layering features of reinforced soil slope, reinforcement tensile force of the slope is studied through horizontal slice method, and the formula is obtained. The analysis results for an example show that reinforcement tensile force increases with the increase of seismic acceleration coefficient, the angle of the slope; while it decreases with the increase of soil friction angle.
