Focusing Property of Radial Array Hermite-Gaussian Beam

Abstract
Focusing property of radial array Hermite-Gaussian beam (RHGB) is studied in detail by using the Collins formula in this paper. The analytical formula for RHGB through the convergent system is derived. The numerical examples indicate that laser parameters (R0, m, n) have the large influence on the intensity distributions of RHGB, and the space overlap will diminish and the light intensity will drop with the increase of propagation distance. The calculated results can provide references for further study of RHGB.
