Modification of Capacity Model for a Multi-line Bus Bay at Traffic Rush Hours

Abstract
This paper presents a modified capacity model of bus bay by using queuing theory and gap theory based on the characteristic of fleet leaving at rush hours, and gives the computing method of motorcade delay、average motorcade length and average waiting gap time. At last, the example of Ba Bao Street stop indicates that the actual observed value is higher than the result of HCM model and is closer to the result abtained from the model proposed by this paper.
