Design of All-electric Vehicle on Traditional Automotive Platform

  • An all-electric vehicle is designed on a traditional automotive platform. The general formulas for the main parameters of drive system are given, and the parameters are work out according to the design case. Combined with the simplified model of each component, the layouts for the restructured chassis system is descript, and the structure design for vehicle body is introduced as well. Some performance curves are obtained in Matlab environment with the selected parameters. The results show that the design performance meets the requirement.
