Abstract
Cr2AlC ceramic matrix composites was prepared with vacuum-hot pressing sintering technology, Which was based on homemade Cr2AlC powders as the raw material with the molten salt method and joining 5% Al and 10% Cu as adhesives. Through the method of SEM, OLYMPUS and HVS-1000 etc, this paper investigated impacts of the hot-pressing process, bonding agent and annealing process on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the Cr2AlC ceramic composite materials. The results show that: The Cr2AlC ceramic composite material has density of 4.458 g/cm3 and 718.3 HV hardness, resistance 0.042Ω·m with joining 5%wtAl in Cr2AlC, which heated preservation 2 min in the 800 ℃.And it has density of 5.188 g/cm3 and 1131 HV hardness, resistance 0.019Ω·m with joining 10% Cu in Cr2AlC which heated preservation 2 min in the 900 ℃. The comprehensive performance of Cr2AlC ceramic composite material gets better with extension of the sintering temperature.
