Abstract
By the means of numerical simulation and experiment, a new type of combined multi-nozzle with perpendicular incidence rotational flow atomization water mist is designed to overcome the shortage of small radius and low density distribution that are innate for single-nozzle. The results of numerical simulation and experiment show thatunder the same pressure, the angle of multi-nozzle is 114°, while the angle of single-nozzle is 59°.The angle can increase 93% to the fullest extent. In addition, the flow coefficient K of the multi-nozzle is 8.02, which is larger than that of the single-nozzle (1.99). Moreover, the multi-nozzle can save about 20% water, and the 5 sub-sprinkle head are interference-free.
