Design and Simulation of Water Mist with Seven-nozzle

Abstract
In order to solve problem that atomization angle of the single- nozzle with water mist is too small and the problem that volume and flow of combined multi-nozzle with water mist is too big, a new type of seven-nozzle with perpendicular incidence rotational flow atomization water mist has been designed by studying the effect of the structural parameters and the type of the nozzle on nozzle atomization and having numerical simulation on the nozzle under optimal structural control and multi-pressure. The simulation result shows that: the new type of seven-nozzle can acquire greater axial and radial momentum; the structure of the seven-nozzle effectively enlarges the atomization angle; under the pressure of 1.2Mpa, the maximum angle can enlarge to 146.3°; the nozzle has enough jetting strength because the flow coefficient K of the seven-nozzle is between 3.82 and 3.87.
