Research on the Optimal Scale Model of the Electric Vehicle Charging Station

  • We develop an optimization model to minimize the average system cost per year under the situation that the demand of electric car is increasing at a certain rate. For the nonlinear integer programming problem, branch and bound method is used to solve the optimal amount of the charging stations and the optimal number of charging generators at each station for every planning horizon. And a numerical example is provided to demonstrate the validity and effectiveness of the model.
