Abstract

Demand of passenger transportation within inter-city of urban agglomeration is increasing. We discussed the evolution mechanism of urban agglomeration inter-city railway network based on the evolution mechanism of points and lines, and taken advantage of per capita GDP and passenger transportation demand as the main influence factors. Then the practicability of the research methods was elaborated with evolution of the inter- city railway of Guanzhong region.
