The Optimization Design of Orifice Plate and Venturi-tube Composite Structure of Cavitator

  • Based on the study of related hydraulic device cavitation machine, the cavitation effect of Orifice plate and venturi-tube composite structure was optimized through the simulation which provided in the ANSYS-CFX software.With the same structural parameters and the same place of Orifice plate, the effect of three different forms of Venturi- tube throat structure on the cavitation was analyzed through the numerical simulation of cavitating flow.Through analysis of the pressure distribution and the vapor volume fraction on cavitation flow field, we obtained better structure of cavitation.The results showed that the structure of Venturi-tube throat had an important effect on cavitation.Under the same boundary conditions, the sharp type structure of Venturi-tubethroat is optimal.
