Bridge Construction Risk Assessment Based on Analytic Hierarchy Process and Grey Fuzzy Theory

  • The construction of East Gate Yangtze River bridge in Chongqing is complex. There are many risks to affect the safety of the bridge construction.A method is presented to improve the safety of construction. As for the method, Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) was used to obtains the weighted value of risk factors of construction of superstructure of the East Gate Yangtze River bridge and the grade assessment was made by using the grey fuzzy theory. The evaluation result of the superstructure risk level of the bridge is third-class and this is consistent with the actual result. Therefore, for long-span bridges, such as the East Water raft, AHP and grey fuzzy theory can be applied synthetically, and the evaluation result is accurate, which guaranteed the safety of the bridge construction.
