An Improved Population Search Algorithm Based on Pattern Search Method

An improved Seeker optimization algorithm (SOA) is presented to overcome difficulties, such as slow convergence speed, easy to fall into local optimal solution and low precision in the standard SOA latterly, which combine pattern search method in the process of search. Six standard test functions were utilized in the simulation experiment and we found that as for the improved algorithm, the convergence speed and accuracy were increased significantly.
