Research on Anti-floating And Retrofitting Measures for a Basement

  • This paper presents the reason of unevenly floating phenomenon in an underground garage subjected to rainstorm and puts forward some reinforcement measures and process to the damaged members in the structure respectively. Firstly, through comprehensive investigation of the status of the building and coring samples from damaged piles, the status of them can be obtained. Secondly, checking the garage design with investigated data, the cause of the unevenly rise is concluded. Finally, combined with the different damage degree among structure components, the repairment measures are put forward, such as covering the garage roof with proper depth of soil, and then reinforcing the cracked columns and slabs, injecting grout around the pile with high pressure, and adding prestressed anchors in the deformation foundation floor.
