Application Study of Shifting Schedule on Uphill Mode

Through researches on torque characteristics of the engine, the insufficient power and frequent shifting of DCT vehicle were analyzed with theoretical calculation. At the same time, by analyzing the influences of slope on shifting schedule, the basic principle for establishing uphill mode shifting schedule is presented. The uphill mode-shifting schedule was amended, simulated and tested. Simulation and test results show the basic principle for establishing uphill mode shifting schedule can effectively solve the problems of frequent shifting and improve drivability. The principle provides the support and reference for the practical application and research of the shifting schedule on uphill condition.
