Abstract
In order to research the influence of steel fiber volume fraction on iron tailing concrete, two different working conditions, which one is added single steel fiber and the other is mixed with steel fiber and silica fume, were set up to mainly study the flowing characteristics and compressive properties of iron tailings concrete. The test results show that the performance of concrete was greatly decreased with the increase of steel fiber content. Under the compound mixture condition, it made the compressive strength increase continuously with the amount of steel fiber content, and silica fume incorporation could improve the early compressive strength of concrete, whose performance also reaches to ameliorate. In addition, the ratio of the prism strength to the cube is roughly the same, and the value range is from 0.80 to 0.85.
