The City Traffic Safety Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Method Based on The Grey Relational Weights

  • Aimed to subjectivity of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method for traffic safety, this paper firstly uses the grey relational weighting which is more objective than the alternative of AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) weighting. Then, it use the traffic accidents rate which is caused by traffic participation as the evaluation index, and then the city traffic safety fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method based on the grey relational weights is built. Lastly, the traffic safety evaluation analysis of city area was conducted by using this method. The result shows that the safe level of road traffic in the city is general and unsafe condition, and it is necessary for the relevant administrative departments to strengthen the traffic safety management.
