Abstract
Low temperature storage is one of the most useful method to prolong and control the quality of postharvest kiwifruit. However, the kiwifruit is sensitive to low temperature.inappropriate low temperature would cause chilling injury during storage. In this review, the recent progress in research on the characteristics, conditions and physiological mechanisms of chilling injury in postharvest kiwifruit is summarized, the resistance mechanisms and control technology ware also described.
