A Lightweight 3S Solution for Web Applications Based on Spring Framework

  • Many problems have occurred in the current situation of developing three-layer Web applications based on the classical SSH solution, such as difficult integration, long development cycle, inflexible expansion and poor performance in the late stage. Aiming at these problems, this paper proposes a new lightweight 3S solution based on Spring framework.The solution means that the three-layer architecture is mainly constructed by Spring MVC, Spring IoC/DI, Spring JDBC, and then an experiment has been conducted on ABHIMS (the ancient building heritage information management system) to test the solution. The experiment results prove the fact that the lightweight 3S solution is correct and feasible. Compared to the classical SSH solution, this solution not only simplifies the process of writing codes and integration but also helps to obtain better performance of the developed system.
