Abstract
The ordinary temperature control system has the unstable characteristic of hysteresis, time-varying, nonlinear. A regenerative combustion gas furnace was taken as the research object. Based on the relationship between temperature control and excess air coefficient in the combustion, the combustion efficiency of three control modes was analyzed by MATLAB simulation and a kind of new furnaces temperature control technology based on fuzzy Smith-PID was put forward. For the fuzzy Smith-PID regenerative furnace control method, the Smith algorithm was used to overcome the pure lag and the PID control was used to improve the system's steady-state accuracy.The fuzzy control was used to improve the dynamic response speed and robustness of the system. Experiment result shows that the method is clearly superior to traditional control.This technology has the characteristics of the faster dynamic response, higher control precision and stronger robustness.This method can provide reference for other temperature control.
