Research Progress of AgSbSe2 Thermoelectric Materials

  • AgSbSe2, containing non-toxic and earth abundant elements, becomes a promising thermoelectric material due to its low thermal conductivity. The crystal structure, electron band structure and basic physical properties of AgSbSe2 is presented in this paper. Meanwhile, the strategies to improve the thermoelectric properties are summarized, such as doping, introducing vacancy, and composite. Finally, this paper points out the increase of carrier mobility is the key to further improve the thermoelectric properties of AgSbSe2.
