The Fracture Mechanical Behavior of Ti/Al3Ti Laminate Composites Based on Analytical Method

Abstract
According to the pure bending theory of beam, the energy principle of crack propagation, and a four-point bending model, the relation between the crack energy release rate of Ti/Al3Ti laminate composites was established. The mechanical behavior of materials in the fracture process was studied, and the analytical relationships of the fracture mechanical behavior was also obtained. The corresponding curves of material layer number and layer thickness ratio on the fracture work were given through the contrast with Al3Ti blocks. Results show that this analytical method can be used to analyze the mechanical behavior of the main crack extension of Ti/Al3Ti, and the fracture mechanical analysis of the other metal-intermetallic laminate composites can draw lessons from this method.
