Determination of Trace Elements in Marketing Hawthorn Food

  • In order to learn about the amounts of metal elements in different hawthorn products, we used an AAS method with dry-ash samples to determine seven trace metal elements including Fe, Zn, Cu, Pb, Mg, Na, Ca in 20 kinds of hawthorn products. The present study shows that samples are rich in trace elements which human body needs. And calcium content has the highest level.The lead content is no harm within the scope of national standard all. The amounts of same metal elements in hawthorn products from different manufacturer is discrepant.
