Abstract:
The Library of Sichuan University keeps three editions of
Yi Zhai Diary written by Wu Qian in the Qing Dynasty, twenty-four manuscripts, one transcript and one woodblock printing, which clearly displays the changes of
Yi Zhai Diary from manuscript edition to woodblock printing edition. Studying the three versions of diary texts, one can find that in the process of conversion, the unique literature factors and some valuable historical materials in the manuscripts are missing, and literature format has been transformed from “taking time as guiding” to “category”. The annotations, notes and circles, etc. in the transcript specifically reveal the transformation process. With this sample, one can get a glimpse of the follows and changes of the literature in the transformation process.
