Abstract:
With the development and popularization of science and technology, people have more opportunities to contact and use professional terms. Accordingly, their relevant knowledge has deepened, and cognitive level of these terms has developed, both of which contribute to conditions for the non terminalization of terms. The non terminalization of terms is regarded as a common linguistic phenomenon. Its motivation and internal mechanism are in line with the relevant discussion of language recognition in cognitive linguistics, and can effectively verify the principles of human nature, experience and iconicity advocated by cognitive linguistics. The coexistence of similarities and differences in the non terminalization of Russian and Chinese terms shows that the ways of different nationalities to recognize the world are based on humanism, the same interactive experience produces the same semantic association, and the existence of differences is the result of the deviation of cognitive processing under the action of multiple factors.
