Abstract:
Digital village construction is an important part of current rural development. As an important participant, how the rural left-behind elderly cross the digital divide and participate effectively is one of the urgent problems to be solved. Based on the survey of X Village in L County, Hefei City, and the endogenous development theory as the analysis framework, this paper points out that the rural left-behind elderly are facing the following difficulties in participating in digital rural construction: the link between internal and external resources is weakened, and the resources of the left-behind elderly are scarce; lack of participation channels, low enthusiasm; digital ability is insufficient, digital product identity is low. This paper puts forward the path of rural left-behind elderly participation in digital rural construction: strengthen the supply of rural resources, give full play to the advantages of left-behind elderly resources; multi-party coordination and participation to improve the participation enthusiasm of the left-behind elderly; improve left-behind elderly information literacy, enhance their digital product identity.
