Abstract:
Since the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Xi Jinping has made a number of significant expositions on how to create a long-lasting ruling Marxist political party. The core meaning of these significant expositions lays on three points: first, the nature of the people, which provides the foundation for consolidating the party's governance; second, revolutionary, which strengthening the party's ability to govern; third, purity, which has improved the party's capacity to fend off corruption and prevent degeneration. At the same time, the ideas putting forth by Xi Jinping to create a long-term Marxist political party have its own generative logic, which includes the theoretical logic of the party's leadership and governance, the historical logic implied by the construction of various eras, and the realistic logic of practical needs and self-construction promotion. The practical approach taken by Xi Jinping in creating a long-term Marxist political party not only endows the Marxist party construction with new connotation, but also provides scientific guidance for the party's long-term governance.
