Abstract:
Libraries in the digital age are facing the challenge of protecting information privacy rights for underage readers. It is crucial to establish a set of feasible protection measures by first clarifying the concept of "information privacy rights of underage readers". The information privacy rights of underage readers are closely related to readers' personal information and its derivative data. By clarifying the concept of information privacy rights of underage readers and using the principles of holistic protection, independent protection, and entity protection as guidance, a comprehensive protection system can be established. To achieve compliance protection of information privacy rights for underage readers, libraries can establish both holistic and specific compliance. To achieve collaborative protection, libraries can improve information processing consent rules, strengthen collaboration with enterprises, and provide information privacy protection education to underage readers and their parents.
