Abstract:
The convergence of capital manipulation and internet technology has transformed "fan circle" culture from a simple idol worship to an idol money-making scheme, impacting various segments of society, particularly the adolescent. The chaos in "fan circle" is characterized by deliberate idolization, misguided orientation, and extreme behavior, driven by capital's manipulation of fans' interests, which negatively affect the values of patriotism, dedication, integrity, and kindness among the teenagers. It is imperative to shift the "fan circle" from misguided state to a culturally-led behavior, which requires joint efforts from schools, families, and society to cultivate positive values among the teenagers. This involves strengthening values education in schools to enhance the teenagers' value cognition and life orientation, prioritizing open and honest communication within families to promote positive and healthy value identification, and strengthening social governance of "fan circle" to encourage teenagers' rational pursuit of their idols and value consciousness.
