Abstract:
Prosperity, democracy, civility, and harmony are the value objectives of the core socialist values at the national level; freedom, equality, justice, and the rule of law represent their value pursuits at the societal level; while patriotism, dedication, integrity, and friendship define their value principles at the individual citizen level. These three dimensions are interconnected and indivisible, achieving intrinsic unity in value objectives across the nation, society, and individuals. The core socialist values embody both the essence of Marxist value ideals and the shared aspirations of human society. In contrast, freedom, justice, equality, and solidarity form the core tenets of social democratic values. social democratic values, which serve bourgeois interests and inherently belong to the realm of capitalist values, differ fundamentally from the core socialist values in their fundamental principles. A comparative analysis of the two enables us to see through the nature of social democratic values and reinforces confidence in the core socialist values.
