Abstract:
This paper aims to analyze the characteristics of patent technology transfer in the smart agriculture industry across the nine provinces along the Yellow River, providing intelligence support for cooperative and synergistic development among these provinces. Using the patent technology transfer data from 2004 to 2023 as the object of analysis, methods such as time series analysis, network analysis, and text mining were utilized to reveal the trends, spatial characteristics, network characteristics, entity characteristics, domain characteristics, and thematic characteristics of patent technology transfer among the nine provinces. The results indicate that patent technology transfer activities in the smart agriculture industry of the nine provinces along the Yellow River are becoming increasingly active and can be categorized into three tiers based on the scale of transfer. Among the nine provinces, Shandong and Henan, as well as Sichuan, have larger scales of patent technology transfer, while the other provinces have smaller scales of transfer, with Henan being the most active in regional patent technology transfer. The patent technology transfer network exhibits small-world characteristics, with Shandong occupying a central position. Enterprises are the main providers and recipients of technology, while the role of higher education institutions and research units in supplying technology needs to be strengthened. The patent technology transfer covers various aspects including smart planting and livestock management, intelligent agricultural machinery and equipment, automated planting and breeding, and the utilization of waste resources. Hot technology areas include crop cultivation, harvesting, and threshing, with emerging fields involving power generation, transformation, or distribution.
