Abstract: Studying social characteristics and existing problems of language memes under blockchain mechanism is of great importance for us to apply blockchain technology in social information dissemination, and to promote human social civilization.Language meme is the language information transmitted through imitation in social communication.The process of its evolution and formation goes through three stages:imitation, replication and propagation.Under the blockchain mechanism, language meme information has its social characteristics such as timeliness, defamiliarization, costization and algorithmization.Some problems exist in social information dissemination of linguistic memes in blockchain:excessive volume of linguistic information dissemination, the flooding of network catchwords memes, and the monopoly of the right to use blockchain data.The paper puts forward some solutions to these problems:1)the government issues relevant policies on blockchain information management to standardize the behavior of network users' information transmission and reception; 2)network supervisory agencies use the digital authentication authority of blockchain platform to restrict the behavior that endangers social stability with the help of the characteristics of blockchain technology; 3)the government and professional research institutions work together with enterprises to conduct in-depth research and standardize the communication behavior of social information and establish users' personal information integrity files, so as to ensure the normal operation of blockchain meme transmission.
