Abstract:
Talents proficient in both specialty and translation are needed urgently in the present society. But due emphasis is not put on the translation teaching of non-English majors for various reasons. Based on the theory of explicit and implicit instruction and teaching practice, the paper puts forward that the advantage of explicit and implicit instruction can be taken of to promote the translation teaching in college English. The integration of explicit and implicit instruction can take the translation competence of non-English majors to the new level.
