Abstract: Huaiyuan dialect, subordinate to Jianghuai mandarin, contains many 'Inlay l Word'.Based on previous studies of 'Inlay l Word' and comparison of 'Inlay l Word' with other dialects, this paper summarizes the characteristics of 'Inlay l word' in Huaiyuan dialect, and points out that the study of 'Inlay l Word' provides materials for the studies of Chinese dialects and history of Chinese language.
