Abstract: Guangxi Wenchang is the representative work of folk arts with long history and enriched cultural aesthetic connotation. Though it has developed in the difficult and tortuous process, it still emanates great value and charm with expression techniques and colorful content suiting both refined and popular tastes. Faced with threats and challenges from cultural transformation in present social economy, specific measures should be taken to protect this valuable cultural inheritage, such as instituting and implementing practical systems and regulations.
